The exhibition 'Shock Therapy: Photographs of the Polish Transformation after 1989' is composed of ten photographers's works chosen by curator Adam Mazur.

"Shock Therapy" exhibition presents general yet highly impressive documentarial images of a nation of 38 million: Poland. The photographs show the transformation of Poland after 1989 as a process still incomplete full of tension.

An overview of works by Polish photographers with different approaches toward medium allows the audience to see the scale and nature of changes Poland has been undergoing in the last 25 years. All photographers in the exhibitions are dealing with, documentary photography but all of them interpret their own particular vision in their own, original way.

"Shock Therapy" exhibition attempts to bring together selected themes from a period of unusual intensity for the photographic medium in order to create an image of Polish reality after 1989

The photographers participating in this exhibition are Anna BeataBohdziewicz, Kuba Dąbrowski,

Elzbieta Janicka, Witold Krassowski, Chris Niedenthal, Konrad Pustola, Szymon Rogiński, Tadeusz Rolke, Wojtek Wieteska, Wojtek Wiczyk.
